To maintain the integrity and fairness of the ECVC certification exams, all candidates are required to adhere to the following regulations:

1. Eligibility Requirements
   • Candidates must be officially registered for the exam and have received a confirmation email from ECVC.
   • A valid, photo ID (matching the name during registration) is required for identity verification prior to the exam start.
2. Code of Conduct
   • All candidates must behave honestly and professionally during the exam.
   • Any form of cheating, collusion or impersonation is strictly prohibited.
   • Candidates must follow all instructions provided by the exam platform.
   • The use of shortcut keys (e.g. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V), right-clicking or switching between windows or tabs is strictly prohibited. Any such action may be flagged as suspicious behaviour and result in termination of the exam.
3. Permitted Materials
   • Only the following items are allowed during the exam:
     
     • ID
     • One sheet of blank paper and a pen/pencil (if permitted)
     • Water in a transparent bottle
   • The use of mobile phones, headphones or reference materials is not allowed unless specifically stated in the exam guidelines.
4. Exam Environment
   • Candidates must complete the exam in a private, quiet and well-lit room.
   • Webcam must remain on throughout the entire exam session.
   • Any movement away from the camera or suspicious background activity may result in immediate termination.
5. Time Limits and Breaks
   • The exam must be completed within the allocated time shown on the exam interface.
   • Breaks are not allowed during the exam unless pre-approved for medical or accessibility reasons.
   • Exiting the exam screen or leaving room will be treated as a violation.
6. Violation Consequences
   • Breaches of these regulations may result in:
     • Immediate termination of the exam
     • Invalidation of exam result
     • Suspension or permanent ban from future ECVC exams
   • All exam sessions are monitored and reviewed for compliance.
7. Confidentiality
   • Exam content is confidential and protected by ECVC’s exam security policies.
   • Candidates are prohibited from discussing, sharing, recording or reproducing any part of the exam, including questions or answers during the exam session.
   • To maintain the integrity and fairness of the certification process for all candidates, ECVC does not disclose which questions were answered incorrectly.
