The SPM² project (Sustainable Project Management through PM²) officially began with its kick-off meeting on December 10–11, 2024, at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. This initiative, co-funded by the European Union, brings together a consortium of partners committed to integrating sustainability into project management education.
SPM² aims to modernize project management training by incorporating sustainability principles into the PM² methodology, in line with the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project provides higher education institutions (HEIs) and vocational education and training (VET) centers with tools and curricula focused on sustainable project management, preparing professionals for a greener economy.

The development of the SPM² Guide & Digital Hub, a platform offering tools and best practices for sustainable project management.
The creation of industry-aligned micro-credentials to improve employability in sustainability-focused project roles.
A strategy to promote and disseminate SPM² outputs across Europe.
